Google pixel 7 Review: Is this the best Android flagship phone?
Google has launched its flagship smartphone Google Pixel 7 on 6 October. This phone has been introduced in a luxurious aluminum body design. The Google Pixel 7 is available in Snow, Obsidian, and Lemongrass colours. Pixel 7 gets the power of Tensor G2 processor with Android 13. In addition, 128 GB of storage with 8 GB of RAM is offered in the Google Pixel 7. The Google Pixel 7’s camera comes with the Unblur feature, which can improve even old blurry photos. We have used Google Pixel 7 for a few days. Let’s know its review…
Google pixel 7 review: Design

Pixel 7 comes with a matte metal body design. According to the company, the phone is made from recycled material. The phone’s design is both robust and luxurious. However, there is a big camera bump in the rear of the phone which supports dual cameras. Glossy finish is available with the phone, due to which the phone slips a lot. The Google Pixel 7 gets an IP68 rating for water resistance. That is, the phone can stay in 1.5 meters deep water for 30 minutes. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection is offered on the phone’s display.
The volume and power buttons are located on the right side of the phone. In the phone, the power button is given above the volume button, due to this, if you try to lock the phone, then the hand goes to the volume button again and again. The SIM tray is located on the left side of the device. At the same time, the speaker at the bottom of the phone and USB Type-C port is supported for charging. That is, overall, the phone is great in terms of design. However, Made in China is also written on the back side of the phone.
Google pixel 7 review: Display or specifications

For security, the Google Pixel 7 uses Google’s Tensor G2 processor and Titan M2 processor. The phone runs Android 13, offers up to 128 GB of storage, and 8 GB of RAM. An in-display fingerprint sensor is also provided with the phone for security, which works well.
With Google pixel 7 good performance is seen like Google Pixel 7 Pro. The same Tensor G2 processor sport has been given in both the phones. The phone does a good job in terms of performance, gaming and optimization. However, the speaker of the phone does not work as well. Dual speaker is supported with the phone, yet the sound in the phone seems low. Android 13 is available with the phone, with which Clean UI is supported. Apart from this, you are also going to get software updates for five years.
Google pixel 7 review: Performance
Our gaming experience with the phone was also great. With the phone, we have tested games like Asphalt 9 and Call of Duty. The phone does get a little hot during gaming, but the gaming performance of the phone is excellent. At the same time, there is no problem in multitasking with the phone.
Google pixel 7 review: Camera

Google Pixel 7 has a dual camera setup, in which a 50-megapixel primary camera is available and its aperture is f / 1.9. Autofocus, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Cinematic Blur are supported with the camera. You can see some camera samples below.
The second lens in the phone is 12 megapixels ultra wide angle, which comes with f / 2.2 aperture. At the same time, a 10.8 megapixel selfie camera has been given in the phone, which comes with f / 2.2 aperture. The facility of Photo Unblur is also available with the camera. Up to 8x optical zoom support is available with the camera. 4K video can be recorded at 60FPS with Google Pixel 7.
Good quality photos come with the phone’s camera and its image processing has also improved. The primary camera captures good and detailed photos. Our video recording experience with the primary camera was also good. Good stabilization is seen in the video. Google has done a good job in this matter.
At the same time, the ultra-wide sensor also takes good detail photos like the primary sensor and the colors in the photo are also well balanced. However, autofocus is not supported with the ultra-wide sensor, which sometimes makes the photo blurry. The macro camera sensor is also missing with the phone.
Video stabilization is good with the selfie camera, but in terms of photos, it is not as much fun with the front camera. The detail in the photo is good, but there is a slight lack of light. In low-light, there are not as good detailed photos as with the front camera. However, the front camera sensor captures good colors and sharp images in daylight. Overall, the camera performance of the phone is good and its video stabilization is also good.
Google pixel 7 review: Battery

Information about the battery capacity of Google Pixel 7 has not been given. Regarding the battery, the company claims that there is support for fast charging with the phone and it gives up to 72 hours of backup with battery saver mode. Although we did not find the battery backup of the phone as good during the review. If you use the camera a lot and do gaming, then you may have to charge the phone more than once a day. At the same time, it also takes a long time to charge the phone.
The phone supports charging up to 21W. It took us about 2 hours to fully charge the phone with the 18W charger. However, Extreme Power Saver feature is available with the phone, with the help of which the phone can be run for 3 days. The phone supports wireless charging, but its charging speed is also very slow. The phone disappoints in terms of charging.
